Since 1965 the use and control of water has been a key part of our business and our inspiration
Premier Irrigation Equipment Ltd was established in 1965 as the pioneer manufacturer of modern irrigation equipment and systems. These were the days of the Green Revolution and the efficient use of water was becoming a limiting factor. We worked with state and central governments and other agencies to evolve schemes to make sprinkler and drip irrigation available to farmers and thereafter worked to popularize them through extensive demonstration and extension activities. Tea and coffee were plantation crops that benefited from irrigation but demanded particularly strong and durable equipment. We produced what was required and our sprinkler systems have been the market leader for over 40 years. We offer an extensive range of systems to cater for large to small estates, high static lifts and operated by electric or diesel pumpsets or gravity head.
In the meantime our products and systems are exported to many discerning markets around the world.
In 2008 the business of Premier Irrigation Equipment Ltd was distributed to two new entities. Premier Irrigation Adritec Private Ltd (PIAL) is a joint venture with Adritec Group International (AGI) of Bahrain. AGI has extensive operations in irrigation equipment manufacturing and marketing worldwide and specialises in drip irrigation. AGI brings the latest in drip product design and manufacturing to the new company. PIAL manufacturing is centered at the factory at Butibori, Nagpur, manufacturing a comprehensive range of drip and sprinkler irrigation products.
PIAL has a large and well established network for sales and distribution throughout India. Premier Irrigation® is amongst the best known brands in its field and enjoys excellent recognition and loyalty amongst framers and planters. As a full service irrigation company PIAL runs a Technical Centre for the training of field staff, installation staff, Dealers and agronomic and user support and design and specifying of irrigation systems and projects.

Upon the irrigation business going to PIAL the erstwhile Premier Irrigation Equipment Ltd became PREMIERWORLD Technolgy Ltd and took over the brands and businesses of Premier Fountains™ and Premier Funtech™ plus the manufacturing and R&D centre at Boral, south Kolkata. Premier Funtech™ has been renamed Thrillrider® to better express what its products do.
Started in 1989 Premier Fountains™ designs, manufactures and installs a large range of fountains and water effects. All fountains are factory built for precision and quality control and simply installed at site. They range from a vast range of static designs to dynamic types where the water is in motion to musical fountains where water dances to music and light. Multimedia shows for audiences so thousands use water and lighting effects, water screen and video and laser shows. Proprietary software developed in-house includes IN COMMAND™ for choreographing and running musical fountains and Premier ShowControl™.
Thrillrider® embraces ride simulation, edutainment, virtual experiences, dark rides, 4D and 3D theatres and experiences. Custom projects are undertaken by the in-house creative team which develops themeing, scenery, SFX and CGI films. PREMIERWORLD™ has extensive manufacturing facilities for all hardware and FRP mouldings.
